Celebrating National Principals Month

October is National Principals Month, and we proudly recognize the incredible leadership of our principals. Each day, they balance instruction, operations, community, and culture—all with students at the center.

Their work often happens behind the scenes, but the impact lasts a lifetime. We are deeply grateful for their courage, compassion, and commitment to shaping the future of our schools.

Join us in celebrating and thanking our principals for leading with vision and heart—not just this month, but every day.

Another box explains the study is a partnership between UNC and the NC Legislature to support students and inform policy. Welcome to the BCS Family! 🍳☕

This morning, we celebrated our newest team members at the annual New Employee Breakfast — a warm welcome to those joining Bladen County Schools!

All week, these talented educators have been learning and preparing for the year ahead with district administrators and NC New Teacher Support Program Instructional Coach, Carrie Brewington. Through the district’s Beginning Teacher program, these educators will continue to receive guidance, resources, and encouragement throughout their first three years in the classroom — because great teaching grows with great support.

We’re excited for the difference they will make in the lives of our students, and we can’t wait to see all they accomplish in 2025–2026! 💙💛
