Dear Clarkton School of Discovery Families,

Welcome to what promises to be an incredible year at Clarkton School of Discovery! I am excited to welcome both returning and new students and families as we begin the 2026-2027 school year together.

This year holds special meaning as we open our doors as a newly unified K-8 campus. While our school continues to grow, one thing remains unchanged - our commitment to providing every student with an exceptional educational experience where they are challenged, supported, and inspired to succeed.

As I begin my second year as principal, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue serving this amazing community. During my first year, I witnessed firsthand the resilience, dedication, and heart of our students, staff, families, and community partners. Together, we accomplished so much, and I cannot wait to build upon that momentum as we embark on this exciting new chapter. Our theme for the 2026-2027 school year is "Discover More."

At Clarkton School of Discovery, we believe learning extends far beyond the classroom. This year, we will encourage every student to discover more about themselves, their strengths, their passions, and the world around them. We want our students to become confident learners, compassionate leaders, creative thinkers, and responsible citizens who are prepared for whatever the future holds.

As an A+ School, we proudly integrate the arts into daily instruction, providing engaging, hands-on learning experiences that spark creativity and deepen understanding. Students will continue to explore learning through visual arts, music, dance, technology, leadership opportunities, Beta, athletics, clubs, and meaningful real-world experiences. Whether in kindergarten or eighth grade, every child will have opportunities to learn, lead, create, and grow.

Our outstanding faculty and staff have worked diligently throughout the summer preparing classrooms, refining instruction, and creating welcoming spaces where every student feels valued and supported from the very first day. Together, we are committed to providing rigorous academics while nurturing the social and emotional well-being of every child.
