🎨📚 Today, a group of CSD teachers participated in professional development with A+ Schools focused on arts integration! Our staff explored ways to intentionally incorporate the arts into instruction to increase student engagement, encourage creativity, and deepen understanding of the standards.

Ms. Christoff’s 6th Grade Ancient Civilizations class spent the past couple of weeks learning all about the Stone Age! Students put their learning into action by mimicking the lives of early hunter-gatherers and creating their very own baskets. 🧺
It was a fun, hands-on way to experience how early humans used their skills and resources to meet their everyday needs! 🌎📚

Our Kindergarten students had a special visit from the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Safety Pup this week! 🐶💙
Safety Pup shared important tips, answered questions, and helped our little Blue Devils learn how to stay safe in and out of school.
